Department: 36327 Advocate Lutheran General Hospital - Breast Center Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 20 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Weekday and rotating Saturdays Pay Range: $35.50 - $53.25 Major Responsibilities: Determination of appropriate radiographic/mammographic technique and position of patient for specified exam. 1)Positions patient and operates equipment to assure optimal images of designated portion of the body. 2)Determines appropriate radiographic/mammographic technique based on anatomy and patient’s condition to obtain high quality radiographic images. 3)Secures history from patient regarding reason for prescribed test and enters data in the appropriate system for the radiologist's review. 4)Assures patient data is correct according to department standards. 5)Successfully sends images to second look system, soft copy workstation and archival system. Determines when radiographic exam adheres to standards set forth for radiographic interpretation. 1)Obtains radiology jacket and report folder. 2)Assure prior films and reports are available along with correct order for determined exam. 3)Tracks patient through on the RIS to ensure pro...
