What you’ll do Lead the SHE Management System : Implement, maintain, and routinely review for effectiveness and compliance across the site. Coach, train, and advise : Deliver practical SHE guidance and training to operations, engineering/facilities, quality, labs, warehousing, projects, and contractors. Own compliance and readiness : Maintain environmental permits/licenses, ensure inspection/audit readiness, and manage notifications to OSHA/EPA/state agencies when required. Strengthen emergency preparedness : Ensure evacuation procedures and emergency response plans are robust; coordinate drills and follow-through on improvements. Drive continuous improvement : Analyze incident data and trends, manage CAPA, run strategic reviews, and lead SHE committee engagement to grow a proactive safety culture. Connect the network : Liaise with AZ/Alexion SHE teams to share and implement best practices. Minimum requirements: Education : Bachelor’s degree (or 10+ years experience) in SHE, Environmental Science, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline.
