Patient Service Rep/Mobile Unit Driver

Position Summary: The Patient Service Representative/Medical Mobile Unit Driver is responsible for pick-up of the Medical Mobile Unit from storage parking. Transport medical staff to designated area in a safe and timely manner as the schedule warrants. Maintain Medical Mobile Unit cleanliness and keep in optimum working order as warranted by owner’s manuals. Complete daily log for unit. Responsible for set-up and breakdown of required materials, safety of parked vehicles, and monitors all fluids levels. Answer assigned work cell phone, greets, assists and directs patients and other potential patients seeking information. Screens and registers new patients. Assists patients in obtaining services and provides information on funding eligibility and inquiries related to patient access processes, policies, and/or other related information. Performs clerical duties to support the daily business activities of the Mobile Unit.
