Schnabel is looking for a structural welder with piledriving experience to assist with the building of specialty underground structures . Your main responsibility will be cutting and welding structural steel on our projects. This would be for installation of piles, walers, handrail , and other applications. Schnabel was founded in 1959 in Washington DC and has grown to become one of the nation’s top geostructural contractors. We are family owned and operated with a focus on safety, quality of work, and growth. With a national footprint it’s sometimes difficult to maintain the small company feel, but we’ve been successful in preserving that part of our culture. Our field employees are the foundation of our success and are celebrated regularly. As a structural welder you will either be part of a pile drivers / carpenters union or join one. You will be an integral part of our team on site and responsible for welding steel beams, steel plates, and other miscellaneous metals while performing basic piledriving duties.
