Position Title SW KC Mkt Respiratory Therapist RRT Varies: Paola Hospital: Position Summary / Career Interest: We are open to New Grads! Mid-day hours, 10 hour shifts! The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) performs respiratory care interventions in accordance with the standards established by the American Association of Respiratory Care Clinical Practice Guidelines and Paola Hospital Respiratory Care Policy. Under the supervision of the Manager and Lead Practitioner and upon a physician's order, the Registered Respiratory Therapist assesses the cardiopulmonary status of patients of all ages (neonate through geriatric) and provides various types of respiratory diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, based on individual patient needs. An integral function of this position is providing patient education to enhance wellness. Registered Respiratory Therapists are expected to support the mission, vision and values of Miami County Medical Center, Inc.
