Description Job Title: Welder: Reports To: Manufacturing Supervisor: FLSA Status & EEO Code: Hourly Non-Exempt & Operatives Division/Department: Manufacturing: Level of Work: I: Position Summary: Performs all position welding on an assortment of structures and weldments in accordance with code requirement, alignments and dimensional specifications. Requires a broad knowledge of welding technology in addition to extensive welding experience, fulfills ASME section IX welding qualifications. Reports directly to Production Supervisor, Weld Shop or his/her designate. Key Results Areas by level of work Level I: Quality – Complete and accurate work performed efficiently Production quality and efficiency using appropriate tools and equipment, qualified to perform special processes as needed a. Working from drawings, specifications, manuals, codes, etc., sets up welding equipment and obtains electrodes and other necessary equipment for specified job or subassembly. b.
