City/State Hampton, VA Work Shift: First (Days) Overview: Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab at Sentara Careplex Hospital located in Hampton, Virginia. This is a full time, day shift position. This position requires on-call with a 30-minute response time. ​ $15,000 Sign On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates! Hours: Monday – Friday: 7am-3:30pm, along with approximately 15 days of call per month (about every 3rd or 4th weekend). Overview: The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.
