Mental Health Tech - PRN Days or Nights

The position will work with children, adolescents and adults We are looking to hire PRN Health Techs (MHT) to provide high quality care to patients on our Senior Adult and Adolescent units who are hospitalized with psychiatric/ emotional disorders. MHT's hired must support the hospital program philosophy of care, support and ensure a therapeutic milieu for all patients, communicate with nursing staff constantly and participate in the patient plan of care. Employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the hospital. - Participate in treatment planning by helping identify patients' problems, needs, and strengths; suggesting modifications to treatment plan based on observations of patients' behavior. - Provides input during shift report and discharge planning. - Participate in implementing patients' treatment plans by monitoring patients' progress, communicating information regarding patients' behavior to other members of treatment team. - Maintains communication with patient, family members, and referral sources in patients' interest - Co-facilitates didactic, educational, and community groups within th...
