Description The University of Texas at Austin, College of Education The University of Texas at Austin, Department of Educational Psychology is seeking a faculty member in the School Psychology program at the Assistant Professor level. While the areas of research are open, strong preference will be given to applicants with a focus on student academic achievement. We are especially interested in those applicants with a demonstrated commitment to examining systemic and structural barriers negatively impeding the academic success of students, particularly students from racially and ethnically minoritized backgrounds; identifying and implementing academic interventions that result in equitable academic outcomes; and establishing effective home, school, and community partnerships for students and families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Applicants should also have a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring with a focus on enhancing equity and inclusion in the field and in practice.
