Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resources Generalist I to provide support for 150‑employee chemical manufacturing company operating across two locations in Oregon. The ideal candidate will play an important role in supporting and facilitating all human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, compliance with labor laws, and day-to-day HR operations and employee support. The HR Coordinator will work onsite in Corvallis, Oregon and reports to the HR Manager as part of a two‑person HR team. Primary Responsibilities: Leave, Accommodation, & Benefits Administration - Support the management of leave programs, including FMLA, OFLA, PLO, and other company-support leaves. - Support administration of accommodations in accordance with the ADA. - Support workers’ compensation claims. - Ensure accurate documentation, tracking, and communication related to all leave cases. - Work with leave provider and broker to resolve any issues with leave administration. - Provide benefits administration, including enrollment, QE changes, and employee support. - Partner with payroll to ensure accurate processi...
