Accounting Director

Job description

HealthPartners is hiring a Director of Accounting. The Director of Accounting is responsible for overseeing fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for assigned areas of the organization. The Director will work closely with leaders across finance and operations in support of the HealthPartners organization and its mission and vision. Director possesses a deep knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and other regulatory statutes and provides strategy and guidance to departments throughout the HealthPartners enterprise. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: - BA/BS in accounting or business-related field. - 8 - 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, preferably to the senior leadership level. - Adept in accounting methods, and techniques according to GAAP, GAS and FASB rulings. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent oral and written communication skills.
