Title : Senior Java Developer (E-Trading) Location: New York City, New York (Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite) We are actively hiring an experienced Senior Java Developer for a greenfield project to build a low-latency electronic trading platform for interest rate swaps, US treasuries, and futures. Key Responsibilities: Design & develop high-performance, low-latency trading systems Collaborate with trading, quant, risk & IT teams Build scalable, event-driven backend architectures: Ensure code quality with CI/CD pipelines & best practices Provide technical leadership & mentor team members Required Skills: 10+ years of Core Java (JDK 11/17) backend development Strong experience in electronic trading systems Low latency & high throughput systems expertise Event-driven architecture, concurrency & multithreading: Spring Boot, REST APIs, JMS (ActiveMQ) CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, SonarQube): Capital Markets domain knowledge: Nice to Have: Experience with US Treasuries, Futures, or Swaps Exposure to Bloomberg, TradeWeb, or ION Knowledge of derivatives pricing & RFQ workflows
