Min USD $15.50/Hr. Max: USD $21.44/Hr. Overview: EVS Tech I performs daily cleaning and restocking of supplies in assigned areas throughout the Medical Center and its affiliated properties. Duties are carried out in accordance with established procedures set by the Environmental Services Department and the Infection Prevention and Control department to ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to lift and move objects as required for daily duties. Ability to safely climb ladders when necessary. Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate physical effort. Responsibilities: Understands how soiling occurs, including the difference between soluble and insoluble soil and how each is addressed during the cleaning process. Maintains cleaning carts and Environmental Services closets in a clean, stocked, and organized condition in accordance with department policy. Demonstrates knowledge of Environmental Services chemicals, including their proper use and dilution rates. Performs hard surface floor care including dust mopping and wet/microfiber mopping.
