Design Engineer Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks a Design Engineer to serve as a Structural and Payload Design Engineer for our team in El Segundo, CA to focus on antenna structures. Position Responsibilities: This position requires an active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) - Develop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design. - Develop, maintain, and modify basic structural and interior payload system and component designs using 3-D CAD tools (such as Creo Parametric) and other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle. - Validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. - Manage supplier development and test and production activities.
