Willdan Lighting and Electric (WLE), a subsidiary of Willdan, is seeking an Energy Engineer I for our New York office. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Conduct site visits to identify and/or confirm potential electric and gas conservation measures. - Collect and evaluate project documentation such as utility bills, as-built drawings, and other pertinent project information. - Identify and estimate applicable energy efficiency incentives. - Analyze energy usage data. - Use effective writing and verbal skills to deliver high-quality reports and presentations. - Ability to calculate cost savings and return on investment (ROI) for energy-efficient improvements. - Ability to perform detailed energy savings calculations and spreadsheet analysis. - Review architectural, mechanical, or electrical plans and specifications to evaluate energy efficiency or determine economic, service, or engineering feasibility. - Inspect or monitor energy systems, including heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) or daylighting systems to determine energy use or potential energy savings. - Provide consultation to clients or other engineers on topics such as climate control systems, energy mod...
