The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith based organization, has a job opening for a After School Program Coordinator for the New Orleans Area Command located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Job Summary: Plans, coordinates, supervises, summer day camp education programs; .Supervise Program Aides; supervises and trains staff; plans and implements the program; trains volunteers; exercises authority in running program. Prepares periodic statistical and progress reports; adheres to all procedures and policies of the Summer Day Camp program and The Salvation Army. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of the equipment and its use. Knowledge of Salvation Army Youth Development Strategies. Excellent interpersonal skills.
