The Town of Snowmass Village is looking to hire a Swim Instructor to join our Parks, Recreation and Trails team! This is an in-person part-time position, offering part-time benefits and scheduled to start working on or after April 2026 We are looking for a swim instructor that will perform plan and provide high quality swimming and water safety instruction (aka swim lessons). Monitors patron water activities to ensure safety and prevent accidents or injuries. Some of the day-to-day duties are listed below: Plans and provides group and private swim lessons for adults and children as organized by the Fitness & Aquatics Coordinator that support the general teaching outlines provided by the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program. Organizes and directs activities of assigned students to provide a high level of quality instruction and experience. Establishes positive professional relationships with class participants and their parents/guardians. Creates and distributes class participation certificates.
