POSITION TITLE: Audio-Visual Technician – Level 1 DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Technology Division / Technology Support Center STATUS: Classified - Non-Exempt/Full-Time: HOURS OF WORK: 8 hours a day / 242-day calendar HOURLY: $20.66: POSITION SUMMARY: The position is responsible to install, troubleshoot and maintain the District’s Audio-Visual equipment. This position is part of the Technology Division and reports to the Audio/Visual Manager. PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Support Audio-Visual devices in the school district Projectors: Flat Panel TVs: Sound systems; permanent and mobile: Hardwired and Wireless Display connectivity: Apple TV: Miracast: Desktop/laptop computers: Document cameras: DVD Players: Support staff and guests during meetings and conferences Collaborate with other network technicians to support network level services Work with outside vendors, consultants and support conduits Perform other duties as assigned: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent Some education or job experience in the AV or technology field REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong understanding audio-visual devices as well as user support Ability to self-m...
