Description The Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist will be an employee of Care New England Medical Group (CNEMG) at Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island and will be responsible to the Division Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and ultimately to the Chair/Chief of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Administration and Teaching 10%: The individual will have administrative responsibilities as delegated by the Division Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine. The individual will be responsible for teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Medical student, resident, and fellow teaching will be carried out on a regular basis through didactic lectures, case conferences, and at the bedside. Clinical 70%: The individual will participate fully in the clinical activities of the division. Experience and expertise in the management of high risk pregnancies, including ultrasound evaluation and amniocentesis, is required. Seventy percent effort will be devoted to clinical activity. The clinical activity may include satellite locations and will include participation in a rotating call schedule.
