The research focuses on big data analytics and pervasive computing methods to develop adaptive and responsive mental health interventions, with the goal of increasing the reach and impact of mental health care. A special focus includes collecting data on couples and families from historically under-resourced and underserved backgrounds and investigating the impact of stress and adversity on family processes and child development, as well as addressing health disparities, particularly issues related to AI ethics and bias in artificial intelligence models.
