Resident Pharmacy PGY1 - ( 260002M4 ) Description A Brief Overview This position is a 12-month postgraduate pharmacy education and training program designed to provide practical experience in the provision of pharmaceutical care. The pharmacy resident will develop advanced knowledge and skills in patient care as a member of an interprofessional healthcare team. Emphasis will be placed on communication, lifelong learning, leadership, evidence-based medication management and safety. In order to meet these goals, the resident will rotate through a variety of patient care areas. Upon completing the experience, trainees will develop a strong foundation to practice as a clinical pharmacist or further training in a PGY2 residency.
