Job Summary: The Lead GSE Mechanic is responsible for leading all efforts in the maintenance and repair of ground support equipment (GSE) used by the organization. This employee will stay in close contact with the General Managers of the Maintenance facilities and monitor daily activities, ensuring that all GSE items are maintained to the highest standards and are always ready for use. The Lead GSE Mechanic will also be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance procedures and schedules, as well as ensuring compliance with all safety regulations as a facility safety representative (FSR). Qualifications: - Lead company efforts in the maintenance and repair of GSE, including but not limited to power carts, hydraulic equipment, tugs, tow bars, jacks, fuel trucks, small engines, and powered industrial trucks (PITs). - Performs pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and general maintenance repair and/or service on large ground equipment and tools. - Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to ensure that all GSE is maintained to the highest standards and is always ready for use.
