Specialty Care Transport - Registered Nurse - Full Time

Job description

The Mobile/Specialty Care Transport RN provides 911 Advanced Life Support as well as Basic Life Support in the emergency setting to the community and surrounding areas under the direction of a Medical Command Physician. The RN has accountability for the Advanced Life Support needs of the patient during inter facility transport, including, but not limited to assessment, medical management and medication administration in accordance with written protocols and verbal orders. The RN is responsible for ensuring the emergency vehicle, equipment and inventory is sufficiently stocked, clean and in proper working order at the beginning of each shift. This position supports the organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating commitment to teamwork, education and professionalism. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION : Graduate of NLN approved School of Nursing required. Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Current license to practice nursing in New Jersey.
