Facilities Supervisor

Job description

The Facilities Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, ensuring buildings, equipment, and systems such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing are properly maintained and repaired. This role supervises and schedules maintenance staff, supports hiring and performance management, and ensures work is completed safely, correctly, and on time. The supervisor also evaluates facility needs, develops maintenance plans and procedures, and assists with budgeting and reporting to leadership. The Facilities Supervisor will report to the Facilities Manager and work on site at our Osakis location. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supports with the selection process of new hires and trains maintenance department staff. Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy and in partnership with manager and human resources.
