Job description

We are seeking a highly strategic and technically proficient individual to join our Digital & Data Partnering team to lead business development and strategic partnering activities for digital, data, and AI capabilities supporting Genentech Research and Early Development (gRED) and the Computational Sciences Center of Excellence (CSCoE). This position combines the core responsibilities of a Business Development Project Lead (BDPL), driving the evaluation and execution of complex external partnering opportunities, with a strategic focus on aligning Genentech gRED and CSCoE digital and data priorities. The Opportunity: The position serves as a key bridge between Pharma Partnering and gRED’s scientific and computational organizations, translating emerging external innovation in data science, AI/ML, and automation into high-impact partnerships aligned with gRED’s research priorities and long-term technology roadmap.
