Description The Clemson University Richard A. McMahan School of Architecture (RAMSoA) invites applicants for a visiting faculty member to serve as the W. Reaves McCall ’54 Endowed Professorship in Architecture, in architectural design and architectural history and theory, beginning August 15, 2026 . The successful applicant will join the RAMSoA faculty and design community and hold this distinguished title for the 2026-27 academic year. This position is ideal for young emerging educators seeking a pathway to academic practice as well mid-career professionals interrogating contemporary design issues. We seek a visiting professor who can inspire our students to advance design thinking in a constantly changing world. The successful candidate will teach at different levels across the curriculum in undergraduate and graduate programs. The teaching load consists of a core undergraduate design studio along with a core lecture course or seminar in architectural history and theory each fall and spring semester.
