Nature of Work: Responsible for the successful prevention and/or treatment of pest and disease presence on commercial landscape. Essential Functions of the Job: - Perform fertilization, herbicide and pest management treatments on turf using approved spray equipment - Calculate product and carrier quantities - Properly mix and apply plant protection and/or fertilizer products using various types of application equipment - Safe Handling and use of all chemicals - Properly complete required paperwork Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - At least 2 years of commercial pesticide operator experience - As required by state and federal law - Valid driver license issued by the state where employed - Pesticide License issued by the state where employed, preferred - Strong sense of customer service and urgency - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks - Organizational S...
