Job Posting Title Finance & Accounting Specialist The challenge: We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Specialist to support the local finance function in Portugal, within a multinational environment. This role will be responsible for accounting operations, statutory and tax compliance, as well as reporting to Headquarters. The ideal candidate will act as a key support to the local CFO, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information, while contributing to process improvements and business support. What you will do: Accounting & Financial Reporting: - Ensure accurate and timely recording of all accounting transactions in accordance with local GAAP and group policies - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings - Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports - Perform account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews Group Reporting (HQ): - Prepare and submit reporting packages to HQ within defined deadlines - Ensure consistency between local accounts and group reporting requirements - Support variance analysis and provide explanations to HQ - Assist in budget, forecast, and...
