Description Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University invites applications for Chair of the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences (formerly the Department of Clinical Sciences). The chair, reporting directly to the dean, will lead the department in developing a collaborative strategic vision for the department that aligns with the school’s Strategic Vision 2030 . Cummings School has recently introduced a new curriculum, expanded its class size to 130 students, and is building a new veterinary learning center. In addition, we are expanding our three small animal clinics, enhancing our research footprint and planning for the growth of our specialty and referral hospital, the Henry and Lois Foster Hospital for Small Animals. The Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences is committed to excellence in education, scholarly activity, and clinical missions. The faculty is home to clinical specialists and primary care veterinarians who focus on small animal care and teaching.
