Description This is a full-time, direct placement role at Reliable Fire & Safety. Position Overview: The Fire Sprinkler Technician – Fire Protection Specialist is responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining Fire Sprinkler Systems, Backflow Devices, and Fire Alarm Systems. This role includes performing inspections, diagnosing issues, and ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards. Scope of Work: Key duties and functions include: - Assisting with inspections and testing of fire protection systems. - Performing repairs and troubleshooting of Fire Sprinkler Systems. - Operating Fire Alarm Systems sufficiently to place them in test mode and verify signals to the alarm panel. - Maintaining valid Backflow Testing Certification in NC and SC, and performing inspection, testing, repair, and troubleshooting of these devices. - Repairing sprinkler system deficiencies, performing light installation/upfit work, and pipe repair (cutting, threading, grooving of steel pipes, and CPVC applications). - Conducting sprinkler head replacements in both steel and CPVC systems. - Completing required documentation and reports to support service billing. - Using company operating s...
