Casey's is looking for a full-time Child Care Teacher to work at our Ankeny Store Support Center on-site Child Development Center. As a Child Care Teacher, you will be responsible for the daily care of an assigned group of children, planning developmentally appropriate activities, and maintaining the environment in accordance with program objectives. You will ensure compliance with established policies and procedures within assigned program area. As a Child Care Teacher, you will also: Our Child Care Teachers work four 10-hour days each week between the hours of 6:40 am - 5:35 pm. - Perform general care and specific daily interactions with an assigned group of children. - Maintain regular observational and developmental records for each child. - Maintain daily communication with parents concerning their child's behavior and development. - Plan, prepare, maintain, schedule, and supervise developmentally appropriate learning centers and activities to meet weekly objectives. - Attend to personal and physical needs for assigned group of children. - Help maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean, organized and a child-safe environment. - Attend staff and parent meetings, as re...
