Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary: The Clinical Outcomes Research Office is an internationally recognized full-service research enterprise. Housed under the Department of Otolaryngology, the office provides investigators and trainees support in the design, execution and analysis of research studies with the ultimate goal of making a positive impact on people’s lives. Under the leadership of Jay F. Piccirillo, MD, the office also conducts research studies and clinical trials to advance patient care. Jay Piccirillo, MD, has been conducting research in the field for more than 30 years. His ongoing research studies seek to improve patient care across a number of otolaryngology conditions. The office supports investigators at the WashU School of Medicine, as well as, researchers throughout the world who want to collaborate with WashU. More than half of the research projects supported by the office involve multiple disciplines. The faculty and staff of the Clinical Outcomes Research office is committed to providing high quality training for future investigators.
