Position Summary NYU’s Stern School of Business seeks a strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help shape the School’s next chapter in partnership with the Dean and Stern’s senior leadership team. Reporting directly to the Dean, the COO will serve as a key member of the leadership team bringing sharp operational insight and financial acumen to align complex non-academic functions with the School’s ambitious mission. This is a rare opportunity to lead the core infrastructure of a globally recognized business school at a pivotal moment in higher education. The COO will not only oversee critical operations but will serve as a strategic thought partner to the Dean, and actively propel innovation, strengthen collaboration, and position Stern for sustained excellence. In this highly visible senior leadership role, the COO will help implement strategic direction and operational excellence across finance and budgeting, property development, capital projects and facilities, information technology, and emergency response.
