Manager Application Development (B2C Domain)

Job description

The B2C Application Development Manager leads our ecommerce development teams. This leadership role will focus on building and enhancing customer-facing applications, with a strong emphasis on scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. The ideal candidate is both a technical expert and a strong people leader with deep experience in B2C ecommerce platforms, preferably within a cloud environment (GCP or other). ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Lead and manage a team of software developers responsible for building and maintaining B2C ecommerce systems. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and performance management to direct reports. Conduct code reviews, ensure best practices in development, and maintain high-quality standards. Partner with IT and the Business to deliver robust, customer-centric features on time. Oversee the entire SDLC, from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, and deployment. Champion a cloud-first strategy, preferably with experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud technologies.
