Job description
The Passive Safety Homologation Specialist serves as the internal lead for regulatory compliance and certification for passive safety systems. This role functions as the global company's North American passive safety regulatory compliance and certification subject matter expert for domestic and import products providing guidance throughout the product development cycle. Additionally, the role also serves as the primary passive safety homologation lead contact for North American‑engineered exports supporting cross‑region inquiries and ensuring alignment with applicable passive safety regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Team members are expected to establish effective working relationships, founded on trust and transparency, with our internal and external partners. Sound judgment, excellent communication skills and the ability to drive decisions through consensus and influence change are a must. - Lead the certification strategy and execution for all passive safety systems, including occupant protection, crash structures, interior safety components, and restraint systems. - Support Engineering to ensure designs meet global passive safety regulati...
