Survey Technician

Job description

The Opportunity: A Survey Technician you will work under the direct supervision of a Licensed Surveyor and other industry experts. You will be given autonomy to produce detailed, high-quality drawings and reports in accordance with company standards and methodologies, technical guidelines and client needs. You will gain valuable experience working on projects within the land development, energy, industrial and infrastructure markets. Responsibilities: Requirements: - You will be exposed to several cutting-edge technologies, including UAV/drone, GPS, robotic total stations and laser scanning to produce field data which will be used to complete technical drawings and specifications. - Prepare detailed reports summarizing your complex field observations, and sophisticated analysis of on-site surveys. - Work alongside field staff and senior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. - Use your problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex construction challenges. - Has competency using computer operating systems and MS Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). - Excellent verbal and written communications skills to effectively in...
