Classification Title: Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Classification Minimum Requirements: Clinical Assistant Professor: Highest degree possible in field or equivalent professional experience; Evidence of pertinent experience for the position and qualities for the academic unit. Clinical Associate Professor: Highest degree possible in field or professional experience above what would be equivalent to the highest degree obtained; Evidence of creative work, professional writing, successful teaching, and research; Distinguished record of achievement beyond assistant professor. Clinical Professor: Candidates for this faculty rank shall be qualified for the rank of associate professor and, in addition, be a recognized national or international authority or an outstanding teacher in their field or specialization. A candidate for this rank must have a distinguished record of achievement beyond the associate professor level.
