Job description

Implements and maintains the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) program. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal/state/local government laws/regulations, corporate policies, and industry best practices. Represents the EHS function for a Sharp Packaging Services, LLC (Sharp) site to provide a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly workplace for all employees, customers, contractors, and visitors. Coordinates EHS activities including, but not limited to, Product Safety Assessments, Machine Safety Evaluations, employee training, industrial hygiene assessments, customer and regulatory audits/inspections by performing the following duties personally or through collaborative staff. Promotes continuous improvement. - The following is a list of minimum responsibilities related to the EHS Specialist position. Other duties may also be assigned. - Ensure compliance with established EHS standards including, but not limited to, OSHA, EPA, DEP, and Sharp corporate policies.
