Company: Allegheny Health Network Job Description: GENERAL OVERVIEW: The Vice President Digital Care and Virtual Hospital, Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO), is a pioneering executive responsible for architecting a new modality of medicine that dissolves the physical walls of the hospital. This role oversees the AHN Virtual Hospital as a complex operational entity, bridging the divide between acute care and the home to reimagine care delivery. Accountable for the P&L, quality, and staffing of virtual care units, the VP CMIO leverages emerging technologies to close care gaps and automate administrative burdens across the Highmark Health enterprise. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform management responsibilities to include, but not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.
