Job Summary: Provides hands-on technical assistance in all aspects of new product design, development, testing, and documentation of industrial automation equipment. Creatively applying engineering design principles towards innovative solutions and problem-solving initiatives. Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions of the Job: - Contribute to the holistic design (mechanical aspects) of industrial automation equipment with an emphasis on mechanical systems. - Provide hands-on problem-solving that drives design improvements including collecting and analyzing data. - Perform engineering calculations and analysis per specific project requirements. - Provide engineering support services relating to prototype equipment fabrication, assembly, and testing as needed. - Document and communicate results in a clear and concise manner for effective knowledge transfer. - Actively participate in project planning and review meetings to define action plans, resource plans, schedules, budgets, risk assessments and contingency plans. - Professionally present JOA...
