About the Team The Strategic Readiness team plays a critical role in ensuring that TikTok Shop’s fast-growing commerce business can expand responsibly and sustainably across Europe. We focus on helping the business meet ambitious growth goals while maintaining strong control over regulatory and operational risks. Through data-driven analysis, market research, and close cross-functional collaboration, we identify emerging risks, assess their potential impact, and design actionable strategies to mitigate them. Our goal is to ensure that TikTok Shop operates with both compliance and agility, enabling the business to scale confidently in an evolving digital and policy environment. - Conduct comprehensive policy and market research on the e-commerce and digital economy sectors across Europe, with a focus on Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Nordic countries. - Identify and assess emerging risks relevant to TikTok Shop’s business model. - Translate policy and market insights into actionable recommendations for business, product, and operations teams. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Legal, Public Policy, Comms, Product, and Operations) to develop localized business strategi...
