Role Summary Urban Outfitters is seeking a highly creative Women’s Apparel Designer to support design team in all functions of creative design and product execution. Role Responsibilities: RESPONSIBILITIES: · Assist in preparing presentation materials for seasonal benchmark meetings such as Sketch Review, Finalization, and Print + Color day · Excellent ability to sketch design ideas accurately and emotionally while maintaining a good sense of proportion and can accurately illustrate details to communicate design vision to manager · Possesses mocking, draping, sewing, and other technical skills related to garment making · Tracks, manages and organizes department samples Role Qualifications: VISION: · Maintains awareness of trend, shares research and inspiration with team (social media, retail experience, street-style, competitive shopping and vintage exploration as it relates to the UO product) · Brand ambassador and role model of our values · Demonstrates a close connection to UO customer · Works with design leads to execute creative vision in sample and presentation form BUSINESS ACUMEN: · Analyzing Velo metrics every Monday to understand business and sell through of product · Mai...
