The AI Research Lab at Bell Labs Solutions Research invites applications to Intern / Thesis worker positions in machine learning. The Lab has a long tradition of excellence in research and currently consists of 80 staff members with expertise in algorithmic and computing sciences, stochastic networks, information theory and machine learning. The successful candidate would be working in a team consisting of machine learning scientists and engineers, including experts in deep learning, reinforcement learning and differential privacy. The team has a strong track record in inspiring and supporting thesis writing. The team provides a possibility to create new academically and industrially relevant research. We are looking both M.Sc. students or PhD students to work in our team in the Bell Labs AI Research Lab ’s ML Methods and Applications Team at the Espoo site. MSc student would carry out Master’s thesis work in one of the following potential topics: The topic will be chosen based on candidates’ preferences and skills.
