Senior Data Center Facilities Technician, Electrical

Job description

Minimum qualifications: Associate's degree, trade school certification or other verifiable training in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience. - 7 years of experience working with mission critical facility maintenance and operations. - Experience with electrical distribution systems. - Ability to work non-standard hours, including working weekends, holidays and on shift-based schedule as required. Preferred qualifications: - Experience planning and executing installation, commissioning, and equipment startup following industry best practices and protocols. - Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, and troubleshooting utilizing standard hand tools digital metering or calibration equipment and diagnostic equipment. - Knowledge of electrical distribution systems (e.g., high voltage, low voltage, protection and controls, power quality). - Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in data center environments and controls/monitoring systems. - Excellent written and verbal communication and people skills, with the ability to prioritize work efficiently.
