Project Manager, Roadway Engineering Design

RK&K is hiring a Roadway Project Manager to join our roadway design team in our growing DC office. Our team-oriented environment is supported by subject matter experts and experienced mentors that will help you succeed. The successful candidate will work closely with Leadership to manage tasks with significant opportunities for growth and increasing responsibilities. Projects will include, but not be limited to streetscapes, bicycle and pedestrian improvements, roadway widenings, and resurfacings. Clients include the District Department of Transportation (DDOT), VDOT, USDOT, and several local municipalities in Maryland and Virginia. Essential Functions: - Leading a team in preparation of contract plans, specifications and construction cost estimates on bicycle, pedestrian, and roadway improvement projects. - Working in a team environment and able to coordinate with multiple design disciplines to develop creative and innovative solutions to design challenges , and in preparing final design documents. - Provide oversight and quality control and assurance for work performed under each agency contract - Manage assigned project elements as an owner’s representative, ensuring contract co...
