Position: Security Officer Department: Venue Operations – Security Reporting Relationship: Manager – Venue Security Status: Full Time (Non -Exempt) Position Summary: The Venue Security Officer is responsible for supporting the overall safety and security of the facility, its employees, and guests. This role is responsible for ensuring a secure environment and reactive duties to address incidents. The Officer is responsible for protecting people, property, and assets while enforcing safety protocols. Primary Responsibilities: - Assist with the overall safety and security of the venue and its employees and guests. - Admit and screen staff, suppliers, contractors, and visitors into the facility using daily logs and identification badge systems. - Ensure all visitors and employees follow security policies and regulations including enforcing parking rules, visitor badge policies, and restricted area access. - Screen individuals entering the facility using walkthrough metal detectors, handheld wands, and visual inspections, verifying credentials and ensuring compliance with venue security protocols. - Perform thorough vehicle checks at designated entry points, verifying parking privilege...
