Description Summary: The Elementary PE Teacher fulfills the mission of the Catholic school by helping elementary school students in grades PK3 - 6th Grade develop physical skills, healthy habits, and teamwork. Position Responsibilities: - Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school - Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church - Supports and adheres to the Religious Standards for Catholic School Employees and policies and procedures of the school and Archdiocese - Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters - Teach physical education classes - Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons on movement, sports, and fitness - Promote physical health - Encourage lifelong fitness, nutrition awareness, and healthy habits - Develop motor skills - Help students build coordination, balance, strength, and flexibility - Ensure student safety - Supervise activities, enforce rules, and maintain safe equipment use - Assess student progress - Evaluate participation, skill development, and understanding of concepts - Classroom & behavior management - Maintain a structured, positive, and inclusive environment - Ad...
