Job Summary The Radiology Technologist Flex B agrees to float within assigned hospitals throughout Corewell Health East. This position is scheduled and reports to the Corewell Health East Flex Office located at the Beaumont Service Center. (Royal Oak, Troy, Grosse Pointe, Farmington Hills) Under supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Applies principles of radiation protection and complies with regulations. Assumes responsibility for designated area and provides clinical instruction as appropriate. Always follows Corewell Health East philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care. Essential Functions: Performs quality diagnostic exams after verification of patient identification and physician order. Ensures STAT requests are relayed to the radiologist in a timely manner.
