Description Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey is looking for energetic, fun, organized, and caring staff to provide memorable experiences to girls in a safe and engaging Summer Camp environment! Lake Rickabear Day Camp sits on 332 acres of land including a beautiful 40-acre, spring-fed lake, perfect for swimming, pedal boating, paddle boarding, and row boating. The Camp Counselor is responsible for the direct supervision of campers, ensuring their health, safety, well-being, and positive behavior. This role includes planning and implementing an inclusive program that promotes skill development, personal growth, and enjoyment. The Camp Counselor supports the delivery of a safe and structured unit program for groups of 12–20 girls and provides engaging, educational outdoor experiences aligned with the Girl Scout program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Daily Rate: $113 (new staff) - $118 per day (returning staff).
