Department: Highways Pay: $20.72 - $31.06 per hour $43,097 - $64,605 annually Pay is commensurate with experience: Work Schedule: Monday-Friday-7:00am-3:30pm; 1144 S. Assures that standards and project requirements are upheld through inspections of construction sites. Conducts material testing; maintains paperwork to ensure projects can be accurately tracked and payments adhere to contract documents. Functions as the county’s onsite representative for construction activities. Observe construction methods and assures projects adhere to set standards. Perform calculations and maintain project files. Communicate pertinent project information with Public Works staff, contractor personnel and the general public as necessary.
